Disclosure of personal data processing

This document describes how the website www.prassel.it manages the processing of personal data of users who consult it. The Notice is provided in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the EU Regulation 2016/679. By visiting the website, you implicitly accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller of the users’ personal and sensitive data is Prassel Srl, based in viale Bruno Rizzieri 204 – 00173, Rome (IT).

2. Data processing purposes and methods

Processing related to the services of this site takes place at the offices of the Data Controller and is handled only by the technical staff in charge or by those responsible for occasional maintenance operations.

No data from the services is communicated or disclosed to third parties.

Personal data provided by users, such as in the case of sending a curriculum vitae or any requests for information are used for the sole purpose of performing the requested service, and are communicated to third parties only if strictly necessary for that purpose.

The Data will be processed primarily with electronic and computer tools, storing them within storage media by authorized personnel and in observance of all necessary precautions to ensure the security and confidentiality of the information, which can be accessed only by the appointed personnel.

Personal data are processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific security measures in accordance with Article 32 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and the Italian legislation on Privacy have been taken to prevent the loss or disclosure of data as well as unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

3. Data Processed

a) Navigation Data

The informatics systems that run this site acquire, in their normal routine, some personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. These are all those information that are not collected to be associated with the interested identified, but that could allow, for their very same nature, the identification of users.

This category includes:

  • IP addresses and domain names used by the users of the site;
  • URI notation addressed the resources requested, the methods used in querying the server, the dimension of the file obtained as an answer, the code number indicating the state of the answer given by the server (error, etc…), other parameters relative to the operating system and to the informatics environment of the user.

These data are used only to gather statistically anonymous information about the site usage and to check the proper functioning and are deleted immediately after the elaboration.

b) Data voluntarily provided by the user

The facultative, voluntary sending of e-mail through this site implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is needed to answer the requests, and of other eventual personal data such as the ones written in CVs or the contact modules.

c) Registration Data

The data provided when submitting contact forms or requests through the site will be used to enable access to the service, for purposes related or functional to the service, and for marketing purposes.

d) Data collected during webinar sessions

The personal data communicated or provided by the user during registration or participation in webinar sessions are acquired for the delivery of the service, for purposes related or functional to its delivery, for sending material as a result of participation and for marketing purposes. Even during webinar sessions, however, the provision of this data by the user remains optional.

e) Cookies

No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard.

No use is made of cookies for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor are used so-called persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracking users.

The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site.

The so-called session cookies used in this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially detrimental to the privacy of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Piwik Pro

The site includes some components transmitted by Piwik Pro, a web traffic analysis service provided by Piwik Pro LLC. These are third-party cookies, collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve site performance (performance cookies).

Piwik Pro uses “cookies” to anonymously collect and analyze information about Website usage behavior (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Piwik pro, which processes it for the purpose of compiling reports for Prassel Srl operators regarding activity on its Websites.

Piwik Pro does not associate the IP address with any other data, nor does it attempt to link an IP address with a user’s identity. Piwik Pro may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process such information on behalf of Piwik Pro.

YouTube

The site incorporates YouTube videos into some of the pages for informational purposes.

YouTube collects cookies when playing the video, used for purposes such as marketing, ad personalization, and cybersecurity. Therefore, the possibility of data processing in local storage and cookies, as well as retention of IP address by YouTube cannot be excluded.

If the user is connected in parallel with a Google account, YouTube may perform profiling. In this case, in fact, the actions taken by the user can be combined with the user’s profile. While watching the video, data may be transferred to YouTube and Google’s servers in the United States.

HCaptcha

The site incorporates the hCaptcha anti-bot service, which claims to use only the so-called “consent-exempt” cookies under GDPR regulations. Examples provided by HCaptcha of such cookies include:

– Technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of the service. These include preference cookies, session cookies, load-balancing session cookies, etc.

– Statistics cookies managed directly by HCaptcha (i.e., proprietary, not third-party cookies), where the data is not used for profiling.

4. Optional nature of data providing

Users are always free to provide personal data, set out in the request modules to benefit from some of the services provided by the website, which have an optional nature. Anyways, the lack of data provision can cause the impossibility of fulfilling the requested service.

5. Access to Data

Data may be made accessible for the above-mentioned purposes (under “Data processing purposes and methods”) to:

  • Data Controller;
  • Data Processor(s);
  • Employees or collaborators;

Data will not be shared outside of the aforementioned individuals. The Data Controller does not transfer personal data to countries where the GDPR does not apply (countries outside the EU).

6. DPO

The data protection officer is obliged to inform and provide consultancy to the Data controller and to the employees who treat data regarding the obligation descending from the regulation and its normative.

The DPO monitors the respect of the regulation, the applicable privacy laws, and the procedure adopted by the Data controller. The DPO cooperates with the privacy authority.

7. Subject’s Rights

At any time it will be possible to exercise, towards the Data Controller and Data Processors, the rights that the EU Regulation 2016/679 art. 15 recognizes.

The data subject may request access to the Data concerning him/her, their deletion, the rectification of inaccurate Data, the integration of incomplete Data, the deletion of Data, the restriction of processing in the cases prescribed by Article 18 GDPR, as well as contest the processing carried out for legitimate interests of the Data Controller. The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority of the State where he/she resides, works or where the alleged violation occurred.

8. Procedure to exercise the subject’s rights
